Highway 152/San Luis Reservoir

CDF Battalion Chief Dave Athey: We've
been busy on small fires this year,
but from these pictures you can see that even small fires are dangerous.
This is in the side of California State Highway 152 at the San Luis
Reservoir.
You can see some of the big trucks driving off over into the other lane to
avoid
the flames. In the last picture (on the next page) you can see an
air-tanker
making a drop on one of the flanks of the fire. Nobody ended up getting
hurt.
